VP, Creative

The Creative Department Lead (VP, Creative) guides this dynamic team, leading efforts to design, refine, and elevate our production processes. This role ensures that every project is executed with the highest quality, professionalism, and dedication to client satisfaction. In a rapidly evolving environment, the VP, Creative leads the team in pioneering new filmmaking approaches, utilizing cutting-edge technology to bring each story vividly to life.

Qualifications for the Role

• Proven Storytelling Expertise: A minimum of 2 years of experience in film production, media, or a related field, with demonstrated skills in narrative development and visual storytelling.

• Familiarity with AI and Digital Film Technology: Hands-on experience with AI-enhanced or digital film technology is essential, as this role involves integrating advanced tools into the filmmaking process.

• Experience in Television Journalism: Strong background in television journalism is a major plus, with an emphasis on creating engaging, factual, and visually compelling stories.

• Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead creative teams, overseeing directors, writers, and editors in a collaborative environment to ensure projects meet high standards and client expectations.

• Client-Centric Approach: Experience working directly with clients to interpret, develop, and bring their stories to life in a meaningful, personalized way.

• Strategic and Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to balance creative vision with strategic thinking, adapting to dynamic project needs and pioneering new production methods.

Qualifications for VP, Business Development & Operations

• Proven Business Development Expertise: A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or operations, preferably within media, film, or technology-focused environments.

• Operational Leadership: Strong track record in managing daily business operations, with the ability to create efficient workflows and ensure a seamless client experience.

• Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and nurture client relationships, with a client-centered approach that aligns with our company values.

• Sales and Marketing Acumen: Experience in designing and executing client acquisition and growth strategies, with a keen understanding of digital marketing channels.

This team develops the AI-driven tools and infrastructure that bring family histories to life with cinematic detail, managing everything from backend operations to advanced machine learning systems. They work closely with the creative and business teams to ensure that our technology enhances storytelling and supports seamless production workflows.

VP, Technology & Engineering

The VP of Technology & Engineering leads the technical team, overseeing the development and integration of cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and digital film technologies into our processes. This role requires a strong technical foundation and leadership skills, balancing hands-on development with strategic vision to drive our technological roadmap. The VP will be instrumental in pioneering new approaches and ensuring our platform scales efficiently while supporting the creative and business objectives of Generation Studios.

Qualifications for VP, Technology & Engineering

• Extensive Technical Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, AI, or machine learning, with a focus on digital media, film technology, or similar fields.

• AI and Machine Learning Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of AI models, machine learning frameworks, and their application in media and storytelling; experience deploying these technologies in production environments.

• Experience in Digital Film Technology: Familiarity with digital film or video production technologies, including rendering, animation, and other tools for creating cinematic content.

• Operational Scaling and Efficiency: Proven ability to create robust, scalable technology solutions to support company growth and optimize production processes.

• Leadership and Team Development: Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working closely with creative and business teams to align technology development with storytelling and business goals.
